ReplyDeleteAugust is usually a super hot month here in Oklahoma this year I actually still have grass that is green now that is weird. I usually am on vacation, but now that I retired I am on vacation year around..LOL

ReplyDeleteI do like August because the days are still warm, and even hot!, but the evenings start to cool off -- not like September evenings, but certainly better than July ones. ReplyDeleteStill have plenty of time to sleep in, great weather :)
ReplyDeleteThis August was the best part in one of my life's best summers! It was my best friend's birthday. We went to her summer cottage which is located at the northernmost place of Estonia's mainland. The people at the party were awesome and I loved the night (or early morning), especially the part where one of the guys made a fireshow - he's been studying it for 2 years - while we sat in our little circle with a waterpipe. Got to laugh, try some new things, etc. Loved it. But we stayed there in the countryside for about 2 weeks with just me, my sis, our 2 best friends and occasionally one more girl and two guys. With no Internet, no parents and the nearest shop 10 kilometres away it was different from what I was used to. Something had died in the well so we didn't want to touch the water from the sink. We therefore had some problems but it was rather funny than depressing. There were seasides in three directions, weather was nice, there was a big village swing nearby, so we had something to do almost every day. So sad that we had to go home, but I hope we can do it again next year! :D
ReplyDeleteI really loved the unseasonably cool weather.
ReplyDeleteMy kids go back to school and I get a decent routine back in place.
ReplyDeleteMy birthday is in August!
ReplyDeleteThe weather! :)
ReplyDeleteAugust is not my favorite month. It is very hot here and the height of fire season; this year resulting in many days where it was not recommended to go outside. So my favorite thing is a good book and air conditioner LOL
ReplyDeleteCity of Bones was released in cinemas!
