Hello, guys.
I'm so excited to join this giveaway hop. I had no idea why, considering that I'm a totally newbie in this genre and haven't read most of them although I saw many recommended YA books very often, and how people excitedly reviewing it. I just pile it up on my TBR list in Goodreads. :D 
But this year, in 2013, I promise myself to read more and more YA books. And here are some of YA books of my top to-read list in 2013. Some of them I picked because people talked about it very often, because they were recommended, but some I picked merely because I love the cover. :D

    I like the Young Adult genre because in almost all the books i can find action and of course things that can't happen in reality.Always the main character is badass..My favorite books are Delirium by Lauren Oliver and Divergent by Veronica Roth.I can't pick one.

    I love Young Adult because most of times, I can relate to what the characters in the books are going through. I love Starters by Lissa Price.

    Honestly, I'm not a big fan of this genre maybe because I rarely read it and I think I have already passed the age of their readers coverage (don't know if it has an age limit). But recently I have read one of this books, I read it because I got it free from First Reads Goodreads, LOL, and I think I will read it more since I got a couple of Young Adult books in my TBR pile from some giveaways that I had won :P.

    I love YA because I can somehow relate to their characters and the problem they are encountering. My favorite YA book is The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer series and Anna Dressed in Blood series.

    I love YA because the storylines are usually awesome! I guess I like the younger generation maybe it brings more energy into the book. One of my recent favs is The Vampire Academy.

    I'm in love with SO many YA series right now! The Lux and Covenant series by J.L. Armentrout, the Sweet Evil series by Wendy Higgins, Everneath series by Brodi Ashton, The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater and many many others :D

    I really love Cassandra Clare's books, starting with City of Bones, they're just filled with adventure and action, not to mention just the right about of romance! :D

    I love YA, as I'm in the age group and so can relate to the issues the characters deal with (well, not when it comes to dystopian YA :P). My no. 1 YA recommendation would be The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. :)

    I think I love Delirium the most so far, just the idea of love being a 'disease' is pretty much amazing ^^

    I like YA because I love being able to enjoy a short novel, honestly! I love adult fiction, but it can be hard to commit to a 600 page book vs a 200 page YA. I'm 20 and will probably always like YA - who cares what age it's for? It's GOOD!

    I find YA to be more adventurous and fun.
    I recently read Flawed by Kate Avelynn which could be classified more as New Adult/Mature YA, but this book has stuck with me.

    For me YA is just as exciting as adult books. I like mix YA with adult books as a change of pace. My fave YA book is Sacrifice by Stacey Rourke.

    My favorite ya genre is contemporary romance and I like it because I can relate to those books :)

    I like the YA genre because it's where imagination can run wild! There are plenty of genres to pick from and a great community of readers to connect with and discuss books with!

    YA books are just more enjoyable to read for me. They're a fun escape and I find them to fill one or more of my needs for fantasy, romance, relaxing, character investment or witty charm. So far this year my favorite book is Pushing The Limits.

    I love Young Adult because it's.. well, it's great. I think that almost every YA book excellently captures the feelings associated with not only teenage years, but also life in general: Excitement, confusion, love, heartbreak, depression, joy etc. This is why I think YA novels hold a place in so many people of all ages, hearts; because they're easy to relate to. This is such a hard question, and I always have to have an inner debate with myself over what I'd choose, but my answer is always the same; "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green.     I like YA because I can find interesting well-written books that are generally not full of erotica and swearing.

    I like YA because this genre explores so many emotions at such a tender age. I can't really tell why I love YA, just that I simply do. Just like the other question I cant simply tell what book I love the most cause they are so many stories - Vampire Academy and Bloodlines, Insurgent, Hunger Games,Cinder, Under the Never Sky, The Duff,Shut Out, Pushing The Limits and many others- written by such a greats authors.

    There are just some really fantastic books in the YA genre - some of them even better than adult books - and for me, it's ultimately all about the story. Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout was fantastic!

    I don't have a most loved YA, I have many. And I don't have specific reasons for loving YA at my age, I just do. Something clicks when I read it, that just doesn't click when I read adult fic. Gotta love YA!

    I love how easy to read some of the books are and I love the characters because they are young and careless until they have to deal with something dangerous, then they become serious and ofter snarky...
    Some of my favorites are the Divergent books, Pushing the Limits, The Poison Princess, Cassandra Clare's books.. and so many more.

    I don't know why I love the genre so much, I just am drawn to it even though I am not "young" anymore! lol I recommend the Tiger's Curse series! A lot of info about India included and I learned things I never knew about a culture I don't know much about! =)

    I love YA because it's about OUR life but with more imaginations, reflects our problems so may help to sove them :)

    My fave YA is the The Morganville Vampires series!! I just adore Shane and Eve's sarcasm. Why do I like YA? Simple, easy, fun, exciting... It's my place to escape from my ho-hum reality. =)

    I really got into YA because I teach middle school kids, and want to be a school librarian. So I got involved with my state library association, and started reading to help pick the state nominees, and I was hooked. They're just such good reads. And even when you get older, you still have the same insecurities as teens, or at least I do. Plus, books about people my age, they are usually married with kids, and I can't relate to that as I've never been married, and don't have any kids.

    Though YA is not my favorite genre, I do enjoy reading them. I feel that the authors are better able to convey their emotions, relationships and worlds at times.
    A few of my favorites are The Better To Bite by Cynthia Eden, Poison Princess by Kresley Cole and Graceling & Fire by Krisitin Cashore.

    When I started reading, I have no idea about YA, NA, MG or adult genres. I'm that clueless. When I stumbled upon Twilight one day after reading a Nicholas Sparks book, I fell in love instantly. It kept me reading YAs than adult now. :)

    I guess I didn't read enough during junior high and school so now after college I read enough to make up for it! My favorite series is the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray. :) I just adore Bray's writing.

    I love YA, because there is just so many cool, fun books. Books that weren't there 10-12 years ago when I was in high school even. I love reading YA and being able to relate the issues that the characters are going through with those of my students (I'm a school psych) as well as myself. I read quite a bit of YA which is always an ice breaker when I work with teenagers. Some of the titles I've liked recently have been the Daughters of Smoke and Bone books (AMAZING!), Anna Dressed in Blood, and Delirium.

    I love YA Books mainly because I'm still a teen (nineteen but, still teen :P) and I find it very easy to relate to characters, and I just love all of the magnificent books I have found within the genre :)

    My current favorite would have to be Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. It. Was. Genius. I laughed so so much and it was just fabulous. No words for it, a must read :)

    I love YA because it's fun to read with relatable characters and I love reading from the perspective of teens sometimes. Currently my favourite YA is Eleanor & Park, it was so adorable and lovely as well as heartbreaking. I adored it! <3 Thank you. :)

    For me, I think it's the unique and original stories coming from YA authors. Granted there are always going to be stories with some cliches, but from what I've seen lately, the groundbreaking stuff is coming from the YA genre.

    I love the Iron Fey series by Kagawa, the Modern Faerie Tale series by Holly Black, and Ballad and Tithe by Maggie Stiefvater, in addition to Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely. (Do you notice a fantasy trend there?)

    I really enjoy many genres and YA is just one. My criteria is a good story and often I find the YA is more focused on the story than on more adult issues. It is not YA, but I highly recommend the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison. Lots of fun characters and while there is some adult content it is more story driven and loads of fun :)

    I love YA books because they bring me back to my teenage years and I guess it makes me feel younger or ageless. Its an escape for me to be young again.
